This video captures a moment in history and the creation of the Morton Ranch Junior High School's STEAM Mural Project. STEAM is an acronym for Science, Technology, Engineering, ART and Math to represent that fact that whole brain education includes arts integration to incorporate a creative thinking process and higher learning. Over 100 students worked with Master in Residence, Vicki McMillan of ARTreach and Crystal Andrus, MRJH Art Teacher in the conception, creation and completion of this 6’ x 16’ mural that will be permanently installed in the school’s main hallway. Visitors are welcome to stop by and see the mural during school hours. Morton Ranch Junior High is located 2498 North Mason Rd, Katy TX 77449.
