The California Nurses Association heard that AHIP, the industry organization for the Health Insurance (sic) industry, was going to have a confab in San Francisco. Big mistake.

With people like DailyKos' health care maven NYCEve, Nataline Sarkisyan's mom, and a cast of thousands, the CNA and about 10 other civic/social justice groups gave AHIP a welcome they will not soon forget. We had the Moscone Center surrounded! Yes!!! Very cool. Glad I was able to make it up from Los Angeles. There was a contingent from Texas, however, so I was not the person who had come the furthest.
