I had seen buntings 3 times over a 20 year period, but couldn't seem to get a good picture. I knew about the time of year they showed up, so I set the camera up "just in case" one afternoon. Lillie laughed at me, like "yeah, right". This guy showed up less than five minutes later! He and a female stayed around for about a week in May. Shot with Sony HC1 and HG2037Y extender lens.
