I created this video for the "5 second project contest" at greyscalegorilla.com - a fantastic site for Cinema 4D tutorials, photography, and general design information. This video was created using still images of Detroit's abandoned train station, most of which I shot myself. The countdown starts in the heart of the building and eventually reveals the exterior at the end. Each room features a number, which is displayed in both text as well as smaller, numeric versions of the number hovering around the spaces. Each number correlates to objects in the scenes, with the number matching the amount of objects. The objects are highlighted in each scene with lines and colors. 3D tracking was done in both After Effects and Cinema 4D - the camera moves were subtle enough to "guesstimate" and not use tracking software such as PFTrack. Thanks for watching!
