That's awesome. Thanks so much!
The characters were animated in flash and then brought into after effects to be composited - backgrounds, blurs, lighting effects, camera moves, etc. were added.
The 16 bit platformer scene was achieved by animating in flash at 384 X 216 pixels and then scaling up the visuals in after effects to 1280 X 720, so everything looks all 'blocky'. Simple stuff really.
They were really fun to animate, especially Pogo.
Those characters remind me of 'Wind Waker' (I
have cat eyes) Zelda.
I'll pass it on the compliment.
P.S. Who (and what) is that big pink rabbit-like thing. 'Cause it ate the flippin' houses! 0.o
That rabbit has an intersting origin, but that's for another day...
I like the elevating car in the beginning.
Good for you...
Pogo can transform into other stuff too. But he likes being a car the best.
You are destined for greatness!!!
May I ask: how long did it take you to complete this?
awesome!
Thanks so much.
