The film is shot in the Scandinavian woodland. The Great Grey Owl is not so common in Scandinavia, but some places it breeds. Most of the scenes is shot in beautiful light during late night and in the middle of the scandinavian summernight, hence the great colors!

The Great Grey is a beautiful bird, one of the worlds largest owls. It's capability to do almost silent flights is amazing to witness! It suddenly appears like a ghost.
