17. Archaeopteryx: Robot Drumming Synchs To DJ Software

This video shows Archaeopteryx synchronizing MP3 in Ableton Live with original software-generated rhythms in Propellerhead Reason. It also demonstrates that changing the code changes the rhythms that the code generates. It's not intended as an example of brilliant remixing, just proof-of-concept in terms of the software's abilities.

1 year ago Cheers Chad. I was working on some stuff for the talk this morning. I'm hoping to demo something based on this but slightly more interesting. If everything goes according to plan, it should be able to generate a drum & bass remix in real time. -
