Hi ! We are three students and this is the trailer of our soon to come short film "Salesman Pete". It will be finished in July and online in september. And as you can guess, we are already starting to look for job opportunities.

un truc genre self illu avec des passes assez simples par dessus ?

ps: ça serait encore plus cool si l'ombre de pete au travers du store dans le premier plan était animé . (genre le voir sonner) .

Link : Ouep. Globalement le rendu c'est ça, des passes simples, selfillu, des lumières serrées avec un coup de niveaux, des fallofs. Après y'a des combos. par exemple ne mettre la passe de lumière que dans le fallof, etc ...

As soon as we have some time to do so :D

But the to give a quick answer, we use self-illumination as the primary layer , we add the lighting and a tight fallof, and we try to mix it.

We don't use a specific matérial, it's just the basic blinn in 3ds max.

(And my english sucks)

Yes we use one, with a color burn blend mode or linear burn, to simply add some saturation in the shadows.
