I'm a designer by trade. A group of friend got together to start up Wire & Twine so we can sell things to folks directly. (as opposed to doing so solely for clients)

This is so cool. We did this in school when I was eleven, but our artwork didn't look nearly as amazing. And we had to cut out the stencils by hand, none of that fancy light-machine trickery!

  • woah! that was AMAZING!
how does the shading of the picture on the t-shirt show so well?
i'm going to grow a door-handle beard one day.

Haha, cool process, but.. I don't have all that equipment at home. Can I come use your setup?! I live really close.... muahhahaha. People generally dissaprove of my visits though, cause I eat people... the nerve!

When I saw your Tim Gunn video, I thought "What an extremely arduous process for something that nobody fully appreciates." After seeing this one as well, I can whole heartedly say that I appreciate screen printing now.

9 easy steps, huh? I guess I'll just have to dust off my ol' light blasting machine and get to work!
  • glass 3 years ago
I totally skipped lots of steps, but that's the gist. ;-)
