When Jump Studios was awarded the Indy 500 show open, they were instructed to capture all the glory, danger, and legend of the race in just 2 minutes and 30 seconds.

To do this Jump produced the show open in the style of a dramatic movie trailer. Drawing on its Canadian roots, the narrator of the open was a character based on the white-gloved keeper of Lord Stanley’s Cup – aptly named “The Keeper”. The Keeper will do anything in his power to keep the cup safe, cue the military - just in time for Memorial Day weekend. The top drivers of 2010 all represent threats to the cup and the keeper will not let these threats go unnoticed: Dario Franchitti, Helio Castroneves, Danica Patrick, Scott Dixon, Ryan Hunter-Reay all play a starring role in the tease.
