Father Michael McGarry, directed the Tantur Ecumenical Institute for Theological Studies in Jerusalem for past 11 years. He was recently elected to head the religious congregation of the Paulist Fathers. He has written extensively on Christian-Jewish relations (including Christology After Auschwitz) and serves on the Advisory Board for Christian-Jewish Relations for the United States Catholic Conference of Bishops.
