I LOVE this video- the lighting is great and I like the scene with the man seen through the small round window- reminds me of Paddington @ rush hour! What time of day did you shoot it and did you have to get permission- or are they more relaxed in Paris? Looks great look forward to the next!

This is brilliant! :D my favorite thing is the editing, its beautiful, when i saw this i expected a product at the end of it being flogged, or even an Independent film advert for 2012 track contests, with the passing of the rolled up papers or magazines. I love the detail involved, the flickering lights.. is that post production at some points? did you mask the lights and play with the levels? or am i delving too deep?

Also the expressions on some of the actors made me burst out laughing.

Thanks for this highlight of my day.

    :)

My guess is that they ramped up the shutter speed and that caused the lights to appear to be flickering

Great video. The music, editing and camera work all go together perfectly.

The lights flickering is an artifact of the lighting in the subway. Most of the time it is corrected in production. In fact when I saw the first shot with the train in it I thought "wow, sloppy" before I caught on it was intentional. It works in this instance.

That camera is doing a fantastic job in low light situations at such a high frame-rate. I would not have guessed there was a camera that could pull that off.

    15,000 FPS.
And this camera is made for intense conditions, and I think, basically, the only way you can get this kind of camera is renting it from the company, or being extremely rich.
