2. A Flight from San Jo…
Test animation video at 720p encoded in WM VBR 3KBPS. The length is 1:30 and its size is 37 MB. Edited in Edius 4 and Imaginate. The music is by Sonic Fire Pro 4. All footage is from stills using aeronautical charts and only a few of the photograps taken in flight. Comments are appreciated on the viewability of the PIPs on the moving map background. This current video is a 3rd Gen posting based on comments received earlier and represents a new method of expediting the video production process. My past productions have averaged 200 to 1 production hours per hour of finished video. I'd like to get this under 50 to 1. Thanks!

The route takes the viewer from KSJC (San Jose, California) across the San Joaquin Valley and crossing the Sierra Nevada mountains through remote Mammoth Pass at 9500 feet elevation in a Beech Bonanza. Thence we cross the Owens Valley near Bishop, Eureka Valley and the northern part of Death Valley. We proceed just south of the National Atomic test range and the town of Beatty, NV south of Indian Springs Air Force Base and immediately north of Mt. Charleston landing finally at North Las Vegas airport (KVGT). The entire flight took 2:15 hrs.
This video MAY be part of an upcoming production for small plane pilots.
