I enjoyed your videos! Also, congratulations on your National Award! You were one of my very best high school math students. In the past 28 years I have had some great ones. It looks like now you will become one of the best math teachers I have known. It does not supprise me. Teaching is a noble profession. Onward & Blessings!
I loved your idea of photographing this bridge to us as a parabola! I love geometry and do look at things I see as geometric figures but NEVER thought to use photos of them for lessons! Brillant! I will start to carry my camera now to photograph them as well. I also liked your idea of photgraphing the different size rolls of tape along with the price stickers. Great way to have the students do "word problems".

I thought that this was a great video. I am going to school to be a teacher myself and its awesome to hear different teachers perspective on how they teach. I think the digital projector is a great idea and I love that you take your own pictures and use them in the slides instead of simply pulling them off the internet. It seems to feel a lot more relatable that way and like youre actually taking the time to make something for your students. You seem to be doing a great job!
