This was the first time using my HV30. I used imovieHD to edit the film. I pointed and filmed myself painting john Coltrane at the Monday night jazz session. The first 10 minutes of sketching and background fill-in didn't get captured because I pushed the button to the wrong side. I didn't mess with the settings when I filmed this. Please let me know what I should have done to get better footage. I will be getting a Raynox WA 6600 for my next time-lapse.

Oren 4 months agoGreat painting skills, no doubt! For the video, I would frame it a bit more off-center. Having yourself on the far left and the band on the far right would eliminate the distracting 'flashes' happening at the left edge. Also, make sure your tripod is solid and unmoved during the timelapse (as much as possible). -
ikeepmoving.com 4 months agothat light on the side was a rear projection video of jazz greats. I was so quick to shoot that I didn't think ahead about my shot (next time for sure). The table that my tripod was on had people on it, coming and going. I know what you mean though -
Greg Wallis 4 months agoThat was cool, well done. No messing, you just painted, and painted well. -
pureform media 4 months agobadass...looked alright actually for a poor lighting situation. I liked the fact that the viewer can only see ur silohuette.. I enjoyed it -
