This movie, developed by Karolina Novitska in my "Design for Motion and Sound" class at the Dynamic Media Institute at MassArt in Boston, received the Adobe International Achievement Award. "Crossword" conveys the debilitating experience of Alzheimers disease by combining shards of manipulated digital and analog typography with a haunting soundtrack. Karolina sequenced more than 2,000 still images (mostly black and white) to create the flowing cinematic experience.
