Continued from Part 5, this is the March 24, 2010 Air Pollution Control District's staff report to the San Luis Obispo Air Pollution Control Board regarding the Phase 2 Particulate Matter Study. The APCD executive director, Larry Allen; and Phase 2 Study Project Manager, Joel Craig report the results to the board, which consists of all five Board of Supervisors and 7 others who represent the cities in the county.

The findings conclude that off roading is linked to the health threatening air pollution on the Nipomo Mesa and in Oceano near Pier Avenue.
