This year’s spring Canadian Art Foundation School Hop, held from April 9 to 11, brought out 289 students from 15 Toronto-area high schools eager to learn about contemporary art.
Established in 2001, the annual Canadian Art School Hop provides the opportunity for over 300 high school students in the Greater Toronto Area to develop an appreciation and understanding of contemporary art both as a form and as a practice.
The Canadian Art Foundation is a charitable organization that fosters and supports the visual arts in Canada. The foundation celebrates artists and their creativity with a nationwide educational program of events, lectures, competitions, publications and other initiatives.
