What is the Christian's responsability to those who are less fortunate than us. One one exreme, we are told by some conservative politicians to distain the poor for they should learn to pull themselves up by their own bootstraps. On the opposite extreme, those of the liberal persuation tell us what the poor need is government dependancy, welfare and food stamps. However, this sermon seeks to explain what Scripture commands the Christian to do. This message was delivered by Kevin Thompson to the North Baptist Church in Brockton, MA.
