Helen & Hard Architects are building a structure entitled 'Ratatosk' for the V&A's '1:1 - Architects Build Small Spaces' exhibition. The project will be a climbing structure consisting of ten ash trees which have been 3-D scanned/modelled and then carved using a CNC milling machine. The trees arrived today from Norway, along with Dag Strass and Caleb Reed, two of the architects from the practice who will be overseeing the construction at the V&A.
