In July 1991, the "public peace process" was first named. At a conference in California, a diverse group of prominent Israelis & Palestinians did what governments had so far been unable to do. They created and signed provisions of a peace agreement their two peoples and called on their constituents to engage in a public peace process to change their relationship. This program is about their historic accomplishment, sponsored by Beyond War and the Stanford Center on Conflict and Negotiation.
