Sct. Hans aften (Danish midsummer's eve tradition) at the Halfmachine was duly observed with a bonfire of discarded shipping pallets on a previously blighted spot on the tarmac.

The windy night made lighting the fire a bit difficult, but once it caught it became a roaring beast whose flames was contemplated by the science nerds abundantly present in terms of joules and kelvins. This proved to be a fine excuse for trying out some of the ships firefighting equipment to cool the flames a bit.
