    when u import the footage from the camera what file did it come out as?
    and did u have to convert it?

    I exported it into Imovie , and converted it into MOV. file.

    and what was the size of the mov. file you converted it into?

    Nope , Imovie does it for you. I exported it with quicktime, not sure what the file size was before.

    in final cut yes, since it needs to be converted. Using premier pro, Vegas, or Edius you can put the disk into your dvd drive or transfer with the camera conected to USB
