this is a video i made for my public video assignment for intro to film.

i wanted to make a piece that could provoke a few emotions.
this video to some is calming, while to others it's aggravating.

to make this i first took a camera out to the city and filmed various locations for 10-20 minutes at a time. this footage is mixed into other footage of different channels on television.

and for the frosting on the cake i put black tape on the tv to only allow about an inch thick line across the screen. so the focus is on the sound of tv and colors as well as the partial images that are seen on the screen.
