    It's just the video compression. They are "real objects" in an abstract way. This was coded on processing and exported to quicktime.

    Interesting side effect. It really looks like dimly lit plastic with a bulb behind it. I thought maybe you were using processing to drive an arduino or something. I'm going to have to figure out how to force that look. :-)
