The Rokeby and Crossover Friends Group Inc. was formed in late 2003 by local people with common interests in their patch of bush land. The Group has a diversity of members representing many bush users - residents and neighbouring land owners, horse riders, motorcyclists, four wheel drivers, bushwalkers, dog walkers and amateur prospectors. The group aims to protect and maintain adjacent land so it can remain clean and safe for wildlife and yet enjoyed by residents and visitors.
A commitment has been made by excited Crossover locals to explore the feasibility of restoring the historic trestle bridge in their forest. Who is aware of this relic of the district's history? Who has driven along Bloomfield Road and sensed this hidden treasure among the tall trees?
