Steve Oakley does a review of the DR-680 audio recorder from Tascam. A schoeps CMC-64 was used just above the frame line and fed directly into the DR-680. The 680 provided phantom power for the mic. The peice was shot with an EOS 550D. a 2X24 Kino provided fill light.
In this test we'll check out sound quality and how well the DR-680 holds sync on a 12 minute take.
