Two weeks following the UN-spearheaded investigative body's delivery of its so-called "conclusive" report about the March 26, 2010 sinking of the ROK corvette Cheonan, the outlook looks as bleak as ever as first the North Koreans, then the Russians, have denied the veracity of its findings.
So who, then, sunk the Cheonan?!
Was it the North Koreans, as everyone seems convinced is true beyond a shadow of a doubt? Was it the South Koreans themselves, trying to provoke an international incident? How about rogue elements in North Korea's military hierarchy?
Holding true to pattern, rarely are there definitive answers when it comes to matters concerning the Korean peninsula. And if it's one thing for certain, nothing should ever be taken for granted when it comes to the two absolutely crazy Koreas.
