This is a short scripted demonstration of the power of the free interactive space simulation program "Celestia" to depict the awe and beauty of space. The 2 minute clip takes you into the world of the movie, 2001, a Space Odyssey, where you will see the Discovery Interplanetary spaceship from the movie, and the giant monolith in orbit around Jupiter, all choreographed to the music from Also Sprach Zarathustra.

The beauty of Celestia is that you are in your own hyper-drive spacecraft as you travel the universe. You can interact with these ships, fly next to them, even stop and examine them up close. There are over 50 ships and worlds to interact with from a host of Hollywood movies, including StarTrek, Star Wars, Battlestar Galactica and Avatar.
