Gold Dust

Playing around with a cheap Macro type filter from Hong Kong on the front of the HD7 today and shooting some flowers we have on the window sill. Then I laid over one of my old poems for added interest.
No colour grading at all on this, just the HD7 doing its 'thang'. Got some great shots of the flowers.
Music From Elizabeth, The Golden Age by Rahman and Armstrong again. Buy this soundtrack everyone!

The poem is gorgeous. Short but says so much.
Nice work!
always best to leave people guessing for a minute or two,,, he hee
Looks a bit ropey here on Vimeo unfortunately. The smoothness and richness of the colours seems to be missing. Hey ho. :-(
Feels like a wedding video intro... or outro.
But don't you think its a bit overexposed?
The Russet coloured stamens for instance (at 25 seconds) are deep, rich and vibrant in colour on my screen but on vimeo you can see they look a little washed out. Not sure how to combat this problem.
Thanks though!
But ye.. its a codec compatibility issue as always. H264 have always worked fine for me. But again, that's only one grain reproduced in every 10 that you give it. That's my analogy of compression.
Forgot to compliment you on the poetry. Its pretty concise but complete. That person must have meant everything.
Thanks for the comment on the poetry, and the answer of course is, yes.

or any by Hans Zimmer
No doubt it'll be dearer this side of the Atlantic though!
