UHI is the lead partner on an ESRC / MRC funded research project called the Outdoors and Health Network. This is a collaborative network of researchers and public sector/policy representatives that have come together to examine the relationship between individuals’ health and well-being and their use of the outdoors. The network commissioned this short film to explain the research that has been undertaken and explain the focus for future research into the connections between health and the outdoors.
