It was a rainy day so I didn't feel like carrying my miniDV video camera. This Canon SD1000 point-n-shoot camera is amazing, as you can see. It's a cloudy, wet and humid day, but the video came out vivid and bright. Better than I expected. In fact, I'm not so sure if the miniDV tape head would've survived the humidity. All and all, we 're happy with the result, and we just didn't want to miss this tradition, as we've all enjoyed it in the past, rain or shine. This time, Sammy got to enjoy it, too.
