Ok....this is not going to be interesting to you if you are not family and perhaps it won't even be interesting to those that went, other than to see if you made it into the video. Mom and dad decided to have a reunion for their children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. We decided to have the reunion in Jacob Lake AZ, on the the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. This location is special to mom and dad because they once owned the property and campground that the actual lake sits on. They built up the Jacob Lake private campground by themselves, and only sold it because it was getting too much for them to manage.
So the location is special. What was not anticipated however, was the cold front that moved in on Friday. We got rained on, hailed on, sleeted on, and snowed on. While this limited our outdoor activities somewhat, it did not dampen our ability to visit with one another, laugh, tell stories and share memories around the campfire.
The family and weather truly made this reunion one to remember.
