Shot in early 2009 on a Nikon D90 as my 1st foray into HDSLR film making. I decided to use the nikon in it's cumbersome beginnings not knowing what improvements were in store from Canon in the near future.

What I needed was a digital camera with good macro capabilities. No other digital camera within budget could come close to the macro nikon captured brilliantly with a 50mm 1.4 and macro extension tubes.
But the significant drawback at the time was it's lack of manual control over shutter speed and iso. So, auto gain? Yeah. joy.
The other big nasty came out in grading - banding:(

Still, at the end of the day it delivered what I essentially needed.
