"Arabs in San Francisco" is a comprehensive look at the Arabic community focusing on its individual members, their workplaces and social activities, as well as pivotal institutions and organizations. Director and producer Samir H. Haddad takes us on a fascinating journey around scenic San Francisco into the rarely glimpsed world of the city's 40.000 Arab American. On this journey, we visit private homes, places of business, cultural centers, an Arabic language school for children, a fashion show an Arabic radio station and more.
This is a community of people from many Arab nations working to preserve their heritage and Arabic identity by educating their children and extending the richness of their culture to the American public. We will talk with American, fascinated with Arabic language, music and dance.
