This is the pilot of the TV Series Project "Thainie and the umbrella" produced by Santo Forte under the support of the AnimaTV Program from Brazil Government.
This video was in competition at the Oficial Selection of Annecy Festival 2010, in the TV Series Program.

Thainie feeds her carnivore plant daily with ants who, tired from being eaten up, architect a secret plan full of extraordinary facts, umbrellas and poetry.
In a minimalist atmosphere oscillating between melancholy and humor, the animation chooses for ambiguity and nonmaniqueism to talk about themes such as loneliness, affection and transformations.
