Meet Rocky Salemmo. He’s a ramblin’ gamblin’ man. For the majority of his adult life Rocky has hustled bowling for a living.
Here is his story. A short documentary about booze, broads and bowling.
I hope you enjoy it.

Great character too.
Y'all have a serious knack for telling a story with fine camera work
Respect
Cuts are spot-on for me in both timing and content.
Nice one Sean.
Still a big fan of your work.
Love it.
Great character. Well done.

what a dream character to meet and put in front of a camera....incredible work, one of those "i wish i had done this" moments. im jealous! haha. amazing job guys...
Loving these docs guys, the direction, the filming, the editing. It'd be nice to see you doing some longer episodes with more depth, but still keep the very observatory style.
Also, I noticed you had a lot of cut away shots at the beginning and hardly any through a large chunk of the film.. I thought this was done well. The cut away shots kept me interested enough to keep watching. Then, I fell in love with his character, your filming technique (and the carl zeis lenses!) and poof! 15 minutes over like that!
Top job mate!
Thanks for sharing.
Wonderful documentary. What a character is an understatement. He is so great! I love what he talks about with regards to bowling professionally and for hustling.
What a great perspective too with regards to using bowling to hustle for money. When I think of hustling for money I think cards, billiards, something like that. So it was fascinating to see a different perspective with the use of an all time American classic like bowling to hustle for money, wild concept! It's probably very common, but just not something I'm used to seeing. I take my kids bowling and I don't see this world. I know it's there, but my perspective is directed elsewhere.
Wonderful work! I just can't rave about it enough. The sound, lighting, perspective of shots, editing, and especially the music. The entire piece was so well thought out, excellent job!
he's such an interesting subject. he has so much physical movement so it makes it interesting on camera. his body language certainly shows his excitement and enthusiasm. you have a talent for telling people's stories.
It even had elements of Brando's "On The Waterfront" ; "I could have been somebody instead of a bum which is what I am."
Brilliant work once again Sean!
