I heard about arch mapping few days ago and it is very interesting. I still can't figure out how and when real pictures, real videos or 3D models are used.
That video, considering the brightness and details of the projection wasn't shoot on location, right?
Was the building completely modelled in 3D then used as foreground on top of 2D layers containing effects (smokes, stars etc...) over the original night shoot of the building ?
