Timelapse tour of Yosemite National Park. See one of my favorite places in the world. I was there mid to late May of 2010.

Tunnel view, Valley View, Cook's Meadow, Bridalveil Falls, Nevada Falls, Mist Trail, El Capitan, Yosemite Falls, Half Dome, and much more.

Enjoy!

Amazing work ! I was wondering how you managed to shot the stars ? Which camera are you using ?
  • Henry Jun Wah Lee plus 1 year ago
Thanks you! Canon 5d Mk ii for some. Canon Sx10 is for others. Stars were done using a series of long exposure photos combined to make a video.

wow amazing stuff! all of it ! how many shots are in each "clip" for each scene and how do u work out what kinda speeds needed.. ?? i guess there is some equation needed once u drop them into the video software?
  • Henry Jun Wah Lee plus 1 year ago
It really varies between shots. Depends on time of day, how fast the action, etc. But yes I do adjust speeds once I edit it.

Very nice. Since you seem to have a different profession (from your bio), why not offer the video for free download, possibly through a Creative Commons license? I'd love to be able to download the video and watch it with my husband on our TV (via the PS3), while sitting on the sofa, instead of my computer desk.
  • Henry Jun Wah Lee plus 1 year ago
I maybe allowing some filmmakers to use some of the footage. I'm going to hold off until then.

WONDERFUL! My two favorites were the one inside the river, I felt like I was moving up the river but at the same time was stil. Crazy!

And the one showing the waterfall with shade of the moon light moving up was UNBELIEVABLE! it felt so unreal like if the water was almost falling up... wow... Amazing creativity! Thanks for sharing this!
  •
  • Henry Jun Wah Lee plus 1 year ago
Yes, the river shot turned out better than I expected :)

  • Very compelling images about a majestic place...
Exquisitely crafted, almost every shot looks like hand made to order. Very well done!
I would have liked to hear some more soothing music with this imagery...
