This was a pretty crazy weekend--we had never been to Alaska before AND it was our first wedding we traveled to by plane--and on a 6am flight! It was nerve-wracking to pack up all our equipment, although once we handed-off our checked bags we felt so much better.

We were so thankful for what we did pack as we had our own set of mishaps. Someone tugged the aisle runner during the ceremony and our backup XH-A1 camera fell & broke. It's in for repair.. . but maybe it's a sign to go all-DSLR all the time :)

Oh, and did I mention that we shot both photo and video for this wedding? We definitely could have used some additional hands for this wedding.

The weather was windy, sunny, cool, and nice. We were shocked by how late the sunlight really lasted--at 10pm it felt like 5pm in Seattle. The "golden-hour" lasted for about 6. It was awesome!

But this was one amazing couple who showed us a great time. We have so many great memories from this trip!! Congrats to Max & Tamila!!!
