Living in New Mexico, we are lucky to have our own fabulous dive site! The Blue Hole is in the city of Santa Rosa, and is a fresh water spring, fed from the bottom and is 62 degrees year-round. We are able to dive this site winter and summer, when it is snowing and cold or when it is 100+ degrees in the summer. The water is always 62 degrees. The max depth of the site is 84' but as we are at 4500' altitude, it is the equivalent of a +100' dive. The water is usually very clear, unless there are lots of students! It is known as the best diving in the Western USA and students get certified here from CO, TX, WY, NM, and OK.
