Luna / L98 the solitary killer whale socializes with dog. Please note that Luna was a southern resident (fish eating orca) and was not hunting the dog for food.

“The fact that the story ended is not the point.
That the story happened is the point.
Luna was this extraordinary being
and represented something extraordinary,
and we didn’t want to overshadow that
by the circumstances the ended the story.”

It looks like the orca really enjoys hearing the dog barking. As if he tries to listen better by getting closer... Great video.

That was awesome. I kept on wondering if the captain was going to go and see the orca too.

Great video and it made me homesick for Canada!

Wow that's a bit strange... a coincidence I guess. Myself and my video footage are actually in the documentary. This footage was taken during the 2003 stewardship times..... I have been in Mexico while the film has been screening. But I will get my own copy and see it eventually either in a festival here or on tv next year...

A lesson many humans should learn.
In fact, the world would a lot better off WITHOUT HUMANS!

What I think is awesome is that Luna was singing to the dog.
