Wow Gaucho quello pulito, that's quite a response to unpack. You're coming across like a fellow Deleuzian.
Perhaps you could explain the difference between the deterministic and asymptotic points of view. I kind of follow but I'm not completely sure.
Would you be interested in starting a group to discuss theory in relation to video-making.
Deleuze's Cinema books are great but quite specific to their medium. I'm curious what kind of creative theoretical departures we might make.
I love theory in its productive (not reductive) sense...and that seems to be what you are doing here.
I like theories as means of experimenting or exploring a topic. Unfortunately in America I've run into several situations in which people treat a theory as a law instead of a thought experiment.Or they turn a set of other peoples theories into some kind of universal statement. Such people resemble cops more than artists.
Take a look into Deleuze. He's great difficult fun.At his best he works like a power generator that always advocates the dispersal of power instead of its collection or hoarding.
I'll start the group in a minute. I'll call it "Thought Experiments." Look for your invite. If you encounter others who might be interested invite them.
In terms of light one might think of fragmentation as refraction instead of reflection.
Honestly any decisions in terms of that connection are after the fact. Subconscious decisions.
