A "period" piece of film making with Thomas and Edwin Cooke (deceased).
In this film our dead Victorian opticians demonstrated the making of a telescope crosshair cell with the use of a real spider's web.
This is a practice that really did take place in telescope maufacture and only died out in the 1970's
