The Gap Wildfire in Goleta started on Wednesday July 2. By Thursday, it was 2400 acres. 350 firefighters, 30 trucks, 4 dozers, 6 fixed wing aircraft and 4 helicopters have been fighting the blaze. Power was lost to about 150,000 people from Goleta to as far south as Carpenteria, CA. The fire is about 5-10% contained.
