Footage from our recent vacation to the Big Island of Hawaii. Filmed with a Sony HDR-SR11. Photos and underwater video were taken with an Olympus Stylus 770SW. Edited in Final Cut Express and exported with the x264Encoder codec.

Sean, cool video. Is it possible to view what you've shot directly from the camcorder onto a TV with the supplied cables that come with the camcorder? would the resolution deplete if you don't use a HDMI cable? besides having a HD LCD tv? Also, how do you get your videos onto the TV...been having a bit of a problem there. Sean how do you get permission to have music added to your videos? does it imply to any and all music or certain? Also, I picked the SR12 C.C is this any different from the SR12...as you can tell I have not clue about C.C's..

Allan, sorry for the slow reply. It's been a busy summer!

The camcorder doesn't come with an HDMI cable. You need to purchase the special mini-HDMI to normal HDMI cable to view the video on the TV. If you have a PS3 you can hook up via the game controller's USB cable and view video clips at native resolution that way. You could also use a component cable and get the same resolution.

Music that is licensed under creative commons can be used for non-commercial purposes without any special permission or royalties. Google "creative commons music".

In the package came a USB cable, can I not use that to insert into my TV..I do have a slot for the USB in my TV, however, nothing is coming on:-(
