Fourduos was started in 2003 by Chris Goulet from Calgary, Canada by way of Dallas, Texas. The name began as the name of a small skateboarding crew, like any small crew, calling themselves "the fourduos" probably sometime around 98-99'. At the time the site was launched Chris was handling the online presence of Fast Forward, just before they were acquired by another company. At the time Chris saw the need for a regional, Texas, forum that would open up the communication lines between the four major cities and help perpetuate the Texas skateboarding scene. I would have to say, mission accomplished, in that regard. There have been so many new skateboarders and skate spots that have been featured through posted photos on the website's forum, to clips in the monthly montages. Quick history in regards to the videos on the site. What began as a simple clip page, grew very quickly and Chris proposed to the filmers and editors contributing to the site that we should create a monthly montage, by way of an ftp, that would be posted up on the 4th day of every month. That went on for a year before a full length video, Don't Inhabit Your Mind Bag While Flairing More In Texas, was conceived and completed this past October by Ryan Schorman. Now we have started the monthly montages back up and I wanted to take a moment to feature the sites first all HD June montage edited by Mavrick Moore.
