sound remixed from Wobbly.
This one is long....almost an epic version of the videos I've been doing lately. Just relax and let it wash over you. This is kind of an experimental dance piece.
Thanks again Natalie and Leslie.

I'm curious because it's such a clear statement, but in a way also blends them all together. I would really love some in depth information!
Compositionally I'm interested in what it does to the soundtrack and the dynamic that happens as the reps get longer or shorter. In a sense I'm also interested now in how edits themselves can be as dynamic as the recorded material.
Finally, I figure if i keep up with this folly it may lead somewhere new.
Have you ever tried to edit without looking?
I've done that a few times now, and it can be very liberating. Sometimes nothing (or nothing new) came out, but when luck would have it surprising stuff happened.
It's easy :)
Just cut all your footage in a razorblade-frenzy and throw it everywhere on the timeline. Remove gaps, and export.
And than the exiting part: watching your own film fullscreen without knowing what to expect! :)
Very nice..

Rules were as follows.
1. Take the first clips of 4 sources and arrange them side by side on the timeline ... followed by the second, etc.
2. any clip over one second is removed.
3. Any clips that are seen as disrupting the flow of the rather disruptive pattern are removed.
I love chance operation....but always end up cleaning up the results.
Is it a cliche that we hold to be dear and true?
