Sunrise over the Toronto skyline. Source images loaded into PS CS5 @ 24fps. Bracketed sequences merged and tonemapped in Photomatix. Deshaker filter run in virtualdub to help reduce shake caused by wind buffeting tripod.
Bracketing was 5 frames every 12 seconds 1 stop apart. Camera was a Nikon D700 in Av shooting Small Fine JPEG. Lens was Nikon 28-70 f2.8 @ 34mm & f8. Cropped tonemapped images and made final post-tonemap tweaks in LR then exported as a sequence for importing into PS CS5. Rendered as AVI with no compression out of CS5. Opened in virtualdub, applied Deshaker filter to reduce wind shake then rendered as AVI with the Sony YUV Codec in Sony Vegas.
I kind of dig that I got lucky with the strong cloud movement in both this and the sunset piece, vimeo.com/12754213 and that the clouds were moving in such strongly different directions.
