The 5 means it's my fifth animation, or "motion" as I like to call it. I'm afraid you won't be able to find here all my five animations, my first ones are actually lost during a recent hard drive failure. I'm trying to recover them.
It's a short one minute and a half animation which I've made in the these last 2 weeks; when my summer holiday had begun I've decided to create another motion to improve my skills in the field of animation and motion graphics, but my damn hard drive didn't solidarise with my creative enthusiasm and decided to pursue it's forever sleep. Thus I abandoned the idea for a short while. Problem soon solved, I've bought another hard-drive and started working.
Now let's talk technical. Primarily Adobe's After Effects CS3 was used, I love it's new interface, I've basically leaped from ae 6.5 straight to ae 8 (cs3) and I must say they did improve it. No crashes and sad stuff with this one. The shots from beginng with slow-moving type, the abstract moving shape and the finally the sphere shots, all this was made with 3dsmax, and rendered with vray. Some liquid simulations were made with realflow. I've surprised myself for not using photoshop at all contrasting with my older work. I've sketched most of the scenes on paper, did some sort of a detailed storyboard which I tried to closely follow.
In case you couldn't catch well with the end here's the sountrack :
